We have got a Video of some of the Fun (maybe not) below
Here
From organiser Alan Graham:
“Boy, were we were lucky! The day before the rain hammered off the hills with visibility down to a few yards – I know because David and I were up there marking out the course! Luckily, on the day we had near perfect running conditions apart from some very damp ground. A record field of 132 lined on the field for the Scottish medium counter. Andy Symonds of Carnegie took an early lead and was never challenged to finish in a new record of 1.29.22. Vets Stewart Whitlie of Carnethy (1.31.52) and Colin Donnelly of Lochaber (1.31.59) closely contested second place.
Elke Schmidt of Bellahouston had a superb run of 1.44.37 to smash the ladies record for the new course with Dawn Scott of Lochaber second in 1.58.26 and Ellen Homewood of Westies third in 2.04.45. Louise Burt of Fife was first vet in 2.06.28.
Full results will follow in the next few days.”

Top marks to Colin Reynolds for the most imaginative racing advantage gained from the use of mandatory body cover! SHR has had to amend pre-race briefing notes to: the carrying of mandatory body cover is to include water/windproof jacket and SLIDING PANTS!
