Andy Symonds leads Carnegie to team success in the Ochils
Fresh from his recent victories in the Tour and Lomonds of Fife, Andy Symonds notched up his third consecutive win on Saturday at the Ochil 2000’s Hill Race.
The event organised by Ochil Hill Runners saw Andy lead the Carnegie men to team success covering the 18 mile course with 5000 feet of climbing in 3.00.31.Richie Cunningham ran well placing 14th in 3.38.25 and Dougie McGarry was 25th in 4.06.08 winning Carnegie the team award with 40 points. Jon McDonald completed the challenging course in 5.22.20 in 56th position.
