Good site Neil, I should be able to make this run - see you there!

Good to see from today’s recce Run that the Hillbillies are multiplying at a fast rate.

Hill Running Tourist @ 9:16 am

Once we have run Leg 4, I’m planning a slight excursion on the return route, taking off up the hill past the McCaig Memorial to join the path to W. Lomond (part of new Lomonds of Fife route) and returning to Strathmiglo via the last part of Leg 3 from the spring. Feel free to join me - it’s not obligatory!

I really enjoyed the leg 4 section today even though the weather was bad at first and the start leg 4/finish leg 3 lane was very muddy. The overall attendance at the recce runs to date has been encouraging and hopefully gave confidence and understanding of the terrain to all who attended.
A big well done on orginising the recce meetings must go to Neil Campbell who has encouraged a few new faces into the Devil’s Burden team event. Let’s give a great Carnegie showing on race day.

This was a good “running” leg that will probably suit the good cross country runners or runners that don’t like too many hills. Again it was a good turnout today.
