BIG thanks to you Neil for putting all this together. Must have been quite a job organising five teams or four guys, cars, money, egos etc NOT EASY!
The photos are superb and we have some super runners in our club. If Colin Reid is reading this, thanks Colin for your patience with me. I know I’m not that fit at the moment and its great to run with guys who see the bigger picture. I used to be Alf Tupper, now I’m more like Alf Roberts. But, we did it, we participated.
The Burden is one of those life affirming events, whatever your condition, if you can walk/run you’ve just go to do. Scotland at its best. Awesome sights on all legs. Tough running everywhere, but that buzz that lasts all day when its over. You cannae beat it!
Great that the Harriers can accommodate everyone from the elite to the not so elite with all in between.
Well done to everyone who took part at the Devil’s Burden Relay. Fantastic result for the club and great to see the Hillbillies going from strength to strength.
Well done to everyone involved, it was great to be part of it…you know you’ve had a good weekend when you’re still struggling with the stairs on a monday!
