The Lairig Ghru Race lived up to its usual reputation of uncertain weather ranging from baking heat to wind and rain during the course of the event. No hail stones were reported which can only be a plus.

The plan for the Thursday night off road run on 08/05/08 is to set off from Blairadam Forest Main Car Park at 7pm for an easy 6ish mile hilly run through the forest. A nice easy run, not too far for those who will be doing the Cateran Trail 23 mile race or the Ben Lomond Race on the weekend. Hope to see you there.

A colleague at work told me about this race as his wife rode her horse in it. A bit crazy but worth a look.
The Man versus Horse Marathon is an annual marathon, with human and (mounted) equine contestants, which takes place in the Welsh town of Llanwrtyd Wells.
