Silly Hillbilly – Neil gets lost in the Ochils
After running up from Castle Campbell to Andrew Gannel Neil lost contact with his other two runners in the mist. Thinking he was heading over to White Wisp he got disoriented and headed more north. Knowing he was lost and it was getting dark he headed down a river course to get off the hill. Unfortunately he picked the wrong river and ended up in Glen Devon rather than Dollar. After flagging down a car, phoning home and getting a lift to Kinross services he realised there had been a lot of concerned harriers wondering what had happened to him.
For the record I am posting the Garmin log below and the Garmin connect link

Comments on Silly Hillbilly – Neil gets lost in the Ochils
At least you managed to get on to the Ochils! I went up, and sat in the wrong carpark for 10 minutes until I realised that there was another one higher up. By that time you were all away. I did try to find you, but after taking three different tracks, none of which appeared to be going anywhere near a hill, and in the pelting rain, I called it a day and went back to the car. If there’s any chance of doing a repeat in better weather, I’d like to try it.
