Screel Hill Race results

Eight Harriers took part in the Screel Hill Race on Saturday in the Scottish Borders. The 4 mile race with 1400 feet of climbing featured the 2nd event in the Scottish Hill Runners Championship.

Andrew Wright placed 5th overall in 30.33 followed by Andy Symonds who finished 6th in 31.11. Peter Simpson clocked 34.42 in 25th position (3rd M50) and Kenny MacDonald finished 47th in 38.38 bringing the Carnegie men’s team home in 4th place overall.   Paul Hutton was 78th (43.00), Colin Reynolds was 83rd (44.17), Phil Smithard was 96th (46.59) and Alison West was 97th (47.05).
